AWE Fellows: Mentoring Program

Understanding that coaching is a unique professional partnership that contributes to a high level of personal and professional success, AWE has established a pro bono leadership coaching program.

This program provides a unique and valuable opportunity for female business students and early stage entrepreneurs to be a part of AWE’s professional networking group, allowing them to interact and establish relationships with mentors in the business world, and to attend AWE events free of charge.   Each fellow has the opportunity to work with a coach for six months to assist them in achieving their entrepreneurial aspirations.

Janet_M_Lorenz_-_web.jpgJanet M. Lorenz
Founder & Principal
Creative Leadership LLC

With more than 20 years as a change management consultant, Janet Lorenz has both hands-on experience and highly-developed intuition for what works and does not work for leaders. Throughout her career, Janet has worked successfully with both men and women leaders. She has chosen to focus on women because of the unintentional issues that can hold women back in their careers or aspirations, and diminish effectiveness, energy and satisfaction.  As a leadership coach, Janet blends toughness with thoughtful interaction and imaginative, results-focused strategizing to help women match the challenge posed by Eleanor Roosevelt: You must do the things you think you cannot do.  Bio
